Learn and Study English on Malta

Do you want to go Malta to learn and study English? An excellent choice! The island offers ideal conditions for doing an English course:

Malta is a sought after destinations for England language learners from around the world. The country has 2 official languages: English and Maltese. Malta has an extensive public bus system so renting a car is not necessary.

The most popular places for studying English in Malta are probably Sliema and St. Julian's, which border on each other. Unlike in many other parts of Malta, English is the predominant language in this area, which is a great advantage for language travellers. Before and after class there are loads of opportunities to put what you have learned into practice. Numerous shops, from large shopping centers to small boutiques, allow nearly unlimited shopping opportunities!

Many language schools are based in the St. Julian's and Sliema area, and due to the supply and demand, course and accommodation prices are very competitive. There is a huge range of accommodation in every price category and to suit every taste. Accommodation prices for example in nearby Valletta are much higher.

The nightlife in St. Julian's, especially in the district of Paceville is legendary. Tourists can go to the movies, eat in in one of the many restaurants, snack bars, and bars and lounges to talk. The young can dance all night long in the large and small clubs and discos.

Sliema is located directly opposite the historically significant capital Valletta. A frequent ferry service conveniently connects the two towns.

Valletta is the smallest EU capital in terms of area, and by no means a typical capital city. It does not offer the same vibrant nightlife, as for example from London. During the day: tourists can visit the many cultural monuments, churches, cathedrals and palaces, walk past the fortress walls, shop and take in the Arab architecture. Nights in Valletta can be very quiet, too quiet for many, in comparison to the nightlife in nearby Sliema and St. Julian's. Valletta is European Capital of Culture in 2018.
